Scheduling and Payment Information

Fees are collected differently by each institution. If you have questions about exam-related fees, please contact your institution directly.

  • Scheduling Fees: You may be required to provide payment at the time of scheduling your appointment on the ProctorU Platform. Please be advised that tax rates do apply.

  • On-Demand Fees: If you are scheduling an appointment less than 72 hours in advance, then it is considered an on-demand appointment and additional fees may apply. To avoid the additional fee, select a date and time that is at least 72 hours in advance.

  • Multiple Voucher Codes: If you have multiple voucher codes, you can only schedule one at a time, meaning you must schedule and complete the first exam before using a second voucher code.

Voucher Assistance for ACCUPLACER Exams

A voucher code is required to schedule and complete your ACCUPLACER exam(s) through the ProctorU Platform. Your voucher code can be found in the Voucher Notification email you received from ACCUPLACER. Review the registration guides for new and existing ProctorU users for detailed steps on how to use your voucher code.

FAQ

I don’t see my school in the institution dropdown. What should I do?

You must select College Board ACCUPLACER as the institution. After creating your account and entering your voucher code, you will see your connection to the specific institution you are testing with.

Am I allowed to use a calculator during my test?

There are some questions that allow you to use an onscreen calculator; these questions will have a calculator icon in the top-right corner of the screen. You’re not allowed to use handheld calculators on any ACCUPLACER Math test.

  • Exception: Students who've been approved to use handheld calculators through an official accommodations request may use them in accordance with the approved accommodation.
I need accommodations during my test. How do I get those approved?
You must work with your institution to get your accommodation approved, and once approved, your institution will provide the request to Meazure Learning.
Is there a specific place where I need to take my test?
Tests cannot be taken in a public space like a public library or coffee shop where other people are around. You must take your test in a room that is free of people and distractions. Your workspace must be clear—i.e. you cannot have unauthorized items such as notes or reference materials on/around your desk.
I can’t test after all. How do I cancel and request a refund of the ProctorU fee?
If you paid for the testing appointment, please email placementrefund@meazurelearning.com and include your name, email address, exam ID, and order number from your receipt.
When will I get my scores?
ProctorU does not have access to your score.  You can obtain your ACCUPLACER score report through the ACCUPLACER Student Portal . Click here for detailed instructions. Please note:  If you're unable to retrieve your scores through the Student Portal, the school that completed your test registration is the only other entity that can release your scores to you. ACCUPLACER can’t send you a copy.
Can I take the test on my cell phone?
No. You cannot use your mobile phone to take the test.
How can I get help if I'm having a problem during my exam?
If you are having trouble connecting to your exam, use the chat icon links to access the Support team within the ProctorU Platform or the Guardian Browser. If you are connected to a proctor when you experience a technical issue, the proctor will attempt to resolve the issue. If they cannot successfully troubleshoot the problem within 5 minutes, you will be transferred to a technical support agent. If the technical support agent cannot resolve the issue(s) after 15 minutes of troubleshooting, you will be asked to reschedule your exam for a later date or reconnect with a new device. The technicians will assist you through this process.
How long is the typical pre-exam launch process?
The average launch time is between 8 and 12 minutes.
Can I use a Chromebook?
Our Record+ service is compatible with Chromebooks, but our Live+ service is not. If your session will use the Live+ proctoring service, you’ll need to use a desktop or laptop that meets the ProctorU Platform’s technical requirements. Reference your Voucher Notification email from ACCUPLACER or your order confirmation in the ProctorU Platform to determine if you’ll be using our Live+ or Record+ proctoring service.
How do I know whether my exam will use the Live+ or Record+ proctoring service?
The proctoring service being used for your exam will be identified in your Voucher Notification email from ACCUPLACER as well as on your order confirmation within the ProctorU Platform.
