We continue to be encouraged by the response to the Customer Success Resource Hub. In the last 30 days, we've published 7 new videos. Here are a few highlights:
Users no longer need to go into an individual user's profile to see the status of a grant. Instead, they can configure Grant Status as a column within the Grants Report.
Exam History Report Enhancements
Programs can now see the number of candidate exam attempts by user and exam. This can be used by configuring Exam Attempts as a column within the Exam History Report.
Change Fee Enhancements*
Programs that are using both eCommerce and Delivery Windows with the Meazure Exam Platform can now create configurable, multi-window cancellation and rescheduling fees.
Coming Soon to the Meazure Exam Platform
Automatic Exam Pausing When a Candidate Disconnects*
Starting in late October, programs that use both the Meazure Exam Platform and the ProctorU Proctoring Platform will be able to turn on a new feature that will automatically pause the exam if a candidate disconnection occurs during the proctoring session. Upon reconnecting, the proctor will be able to resume the exam.
Rasch Scoring*
Starting in late October, programs will be able to configure a Rasch scoring model in their exams. This will require additional configuration to include an estimate parameter within item statistics. If programs are interested in this functionality, we recommend connecting with the Meazure Learning psychometric team for more details.
Now Available in the Guardian Browser
Find Function
The Guardian Browser now supports the standard keyboard shortcut of CTRL+F on Windows machines and CMD+F on Macs to open a “Find Function.” This feature gives test-takers the ability to search the text of a web page, just like they would in traditional browsers.
Coming in Late September to the ProctorU Platform
Enhanced Video Player
As mentioned in past Digests, we have enhanced our ProctorU Platform video player based on client feedback. The new player will display the candidate’s webcam and desktop recordings in one combined video. It will also offer a wider webcam aspect ratio and provide a more intuitive video control panel. These updates will enhance the test owner/administrator experience, significantly reduce video syncing issues, and provide a larger view into the candidate's testing space.
This feature will be available exclusively for exams that have migrated to the Guardian Secure Browser (as opposed to the Chrome or Firefox browser extensions). We created this demo video to help you better understand the enhancements. We will be implementing this update during the scheduled downtime on September 29, 2023.
*These features require configuration within the platform. If you would like to utilize any of these features, or if you have questions, please contact your Customer Success representative or email the Customer Success team.

National College Testing Association Annual Conference Recap
Last month’s NCTA conference provided attendees with valuable insights for exam programs and best practices for test center owners and administrators. Here are a few of the highlights from our team:
There was a heavy focus on accommodations, DEI, and how AI is impacting the assessment industry. Our resident expert, Dr. Ashley Norris, had the opportunity to lead two panels where these topics were discussed and debated in detail. More than 25% of conference attendees joined her in those sessions. If you’re curious to learn more about accommodations and DEI specifically, check out our latest on-demand webinar led by Dr. Norris and guest speaker Andy Dua, COO of uExams—Adapting to Change: Accommodations in the New Era of Testing.
Our test center administration team looks forward to this conference every year because it gives them the chance to continue building relationships and partnerships with our test center network. They led an eventful workshop where attendees played the test center version of “The Game of Things,” in which participants competed for the most unique response to questions that only a test center administrator can answer. We wanted to share some of our favorite prompts and responses from the session:
Prompt: Things found when candidates pull their pockets out during the check-in process Response: An old sandwich with a bug in it 🤢
Prompt: Things candidates have tried to use for identification but shouldn’t have Response: A selfie on their phone 🖼️
