In this edition of the Customer Success Digest, we’re shining a spotlight on recent and forthcoming enhancements to the Meazure Exam Platform—our all-in-one exam development and delivery solution. As you know, client feedback is very important to us, and many of these updates were in direct response to your valuable input.

The updates and milestones detailed below are part of our ongoing commitment to improved security, functionality, efficiency, and performance. Spotlight on the Meazure Exam Platform

 

Over the past 12 months, we’ve targeted key areas of focus for improving the Meazure Exam Platform. The enhancements we’ve made to these areas were carefully planned to provide maximum benefit to our administrative users and their test-takers. Below, please find an overview of our areas of focus and the enhancements made.

Test-Taker Experience

Spanish Localization

The test-taker interface is now available in Spanish, providing a more accessible and user-friendly experience for Spanish-speaking candidates.

Automated Exam Content Obscuration

If a disconnection occurs during an online proctoring session, the content is blurred, preventing the test-taker from continuing with their exam. The candidate then receives an on-screen notification prompting them to reconnect.

Pre-Exam Panel Configuration

Offering intelligent and accessible workflows, this configuration allows candidates to have a better understanding of exam expectations before launch.

Coming Soon: Phase 2 of New User Interface (UI)

The next phase of our platform’s UI has been designed with a focus on accessibility, offering candidates a more modern, responsive, and intuitive experience. The new UI will be available next month, so be on the lookout for an email with additional information about how to enable it for your exams.

Feature for Tracking Attempts

We’ve added a reportable attempt number, allowing you to better track whether users are first-time test-takers or repeat test-takers for any given exam.

Rasch Scoring Model

Clients can now configure a Rasch scoring model in their exams. If you’re interested in this functionality, we recommend connecting with our Psychometric team for more details.

Linear-on-the-Fly Testing (LOFT)

We continue to make enhancements to our LOFT form generation capabilities.

“Retest Only” Forms

This feature ensures that candidates who are not testing for the first time receive additional versions of the exam. These forms are only added to the form pool for retests.

Enemy Forms

Enemy forms help identify specific exam forms with shared content, reducing the likelihood of repeat candidates getting the same content on subsequent attempts.

Scheduling and eCommerce

“Delivery Windows”

Administrators can manage exam windows more effectively by assigning specific cancellation and reschedule deadlines and fees. This feature also supports candidate registration across multiple delivery modalities within a single administration window.

New Scheduling Limitation Logic

Clients can now set specific limits per exam to restrict test-taker scheduling, including limits on the number of active bookings on the same exam, the number of attempts on the same exam, and the amount of time between attempts on the same exam. Additionally, end dates on granted attempts are restricted when scheduling.

Coming Soon! Improved Hybrid Delivery Features and Functions

We will be introducing a series of updates to support hybrid exam delivery, making it easy for candidates to schedule exams across all available delivery methods through the Meazure Exam Platform. Benefits will include:

  • Increased test center availability across North America via our global test center network
  • Reduced booking process for in-person exams from 2 days to 2 minutes
  • Greater ability for administrators to enable hybrid delivery

A Final Goodbye to the Legacy ProctorU Extension

We are thrilled to have migrated our clients and proctoring services to the Guardian Secure Browser, meaning the ProctorU extension is no longer a part of your candidates’ remote proctoring workflows. We continue to make investments in both security and the candidate experience within the Guardian Browser, and we’re motivated by the positive response we’ve received so far. As previously shared, we will be officially sunsetting the old ProctorU Platform extension (Chrome and Firefox) starting on June 30.

ProctorU Platform Maintenance Schedule

We perform monthly maintenance on the ProctorU Platform, using the time to implement vital performance and stability updates. During the scheduled windows, the platform will be completely offline, meaning no one will be able to log in. You can review the 2024 maintenance schedule in our support center at any time.

We are pleased to announce our 2025 maintenance schedule. Take a moment to review and make note of these dates accordingly.

We’ve documented dozens of attempts to use deepfake or face-filtering software on our platforms. In some cases, candidates attempt to take an exam for another person and try to alter their appearance to be successful. In other cases, candidates attempt to disguise their eyes while they look offscreen at a mobile device or notes. Our Intervention team is trained to detect this software and prevent suspicious behavior, and our Security team routinely identifies and blocks emerging software.
