We’re excited to introduce two new instructional videos designed to help test takers seamlessly navigate the Meazure Exam Platform. These videos provide step-by-step guidance on scheduling exams on the Meazure Exam Platform, utilizing the “Test It Out” feature, and successfully launching an exam on test day.
Our goal is to enhance the test-taker experience and ensure they feel confident using both the Meazure Exam Platform and our online proctoring services.

Updates to the ProctorU Platform
Redesigned Countdown Timer
An updated countdown timer that clearly displays the time remaining before the next scheduled exam is now available. This feature also facilitates a smooth transition to the next exam, bettering the overall test-taking experience.
Improved Scheduling Availability
Time slot selection for online proctoring appointments has been updated to show all available slots 30 minutes before and up to three hours after the preferred time, ensuring display consistency and more availability for test-takers.
Updates to Guardian Browser
Informed Exam Access on Macs
Mac users will now receive a notification if they download a version of the Guardian Browser that is incompatible with their computer. This will reduce support needs and allow for faster exam access.
Strengthened Proctor Communication
Proctor communication sent directly to test-takers will now automatically open in the integrated chat window to reduce the chances of missed messages.
Additional Reconnection Functionality
We’ve added logic into the pre-check process that will direct test-takers to a support technician in the event of a technical issue affecting their ability to connect to their session. Previously, test-takers had to re-start the full check-in process when they were unable to successfully connect their video and screen-sharing feeds. This added functionality will improve overall connection rates and allow for a smoother exam entry process.

Upgraded Exam Security for Online Proctoring on the ProctorU Platform
We are proud to lead the industry in exam security innovation. Our latest development is designed to transform threat detection into prevention. The Guardian Browser can now check the outbound server connections on a test-taker's machine and alerts our intervention specialists if an unwanted connection to nefarious software is discovered. If unauthorized software is detected and confirmed by our intervention specialists, the exam session will be terminated and the attempt will be marked as fulfilled, preventing the test-taker from continuing or reconnecting to the exam. These proactive steps help ensure a fair and secure testing environment for all.
ProctorU Platform Maintenance Schedule
We perform monthly maintenance on the ProctorU Platform, using the time to implement vital performance and stability updates. During the scheduled windows, the platform will be completely offline, meaning no one will be able to log in. You can review the 2025 maintenance schedule in our support center at any time.
Our next scheduled maintenance window on the ProctorU Platform is coming up on March 21, 2025, from midnight to 6:00 a.m. CT (UTC-06:00).
