Professional Testing Customer Success Resource Hub
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Professional Testing Customer Success Resource Hub—a centralized hub of information and resources designed to help you get the most out of our products and services.
We listened to your feedback and created this Resource Hub to provide you with easy access to a wealth of video content, including tutorials and information on our processes, products, and services—all conveniently organized and searchable.
Please bookmark this resource as we will regularly update the resource center with fresh content, catering to both new and experienced users. We rely on your feedback to provide you with the support you need to achieve your goals.
As part of our transition to the Guardian Secure Browser, Meazure Learning will be moving aspects of our remote access detection process from LogMeIn Rescue (LMI) to Guardian as of June 15. While LMI will remain part of the overall delivery process, using Guardian to detect and shut down these remote access applications (like Teamviewer, Anydesk) will remove burdens from candidates as well as limit the number of incident reports shared to associated testing organizations.
New to the Meazure Exam Platform: Enemy Forms
The Meazure Exam Platform has long allowed test sponsors to identify enemy items, or question enemies. These are questions that should not appear on the same exam because they are too similar or may give away the answer to another question. Now, test sponsors can identify enemy forms, which are forms that have significant overlap or related items.
When a repeat test-taker is assigned a new test form, the form picker will automatically check for enemy forms and ensure that the test-taker is assigned a form that has not been designated as an enemy.
Coming Soon to the Meazure Exam Platform: New Image Viewing Capabilities
By the end of June, we will help test-takers view all the details on large images during future exams. This change will deliver two new features: Magnify and Adjustable Zoom.
The magnify feature will allow test-takers to use a magnifying glass over an image. When test-takers hover their mouse over the image, they will see an enlarged view of the area through the magnifying glass.
The adjustable zoom feature will allow test-takers to pan around an image and zoom in on the area they want to see closer. When test-takers click on an image, they will see a slider that they can use to zoom in or out. An easy-to-use “reset” button will return the image to its original size.
These features will be available exclusively on Guardian, and we'll keep you informed about its wider release.
Coming Soon to ProctorU: Video Player Update
In response to your feedback on the ProctorU video player, we are piloting new functionality with our candidate video processing. We will capture candidate webcam and desktop recordings in one combined video, offer a wider webcam aspect ratio, and provide a more intuitive video control panel.
These updates will enhance the test owner/administrator experience, significantly reduce video syncing issues, and provide a larger view into the candidate's testing space. This feature will be available exclusively in the Guardian Secure Browser, and we'll keep you informed about its wider release.
Reminder: As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have scheduled recurring monthly maintenance windows on the ProctorU Proctoring Platform. We created this 2023 maintenance article in our support center so you can always reference these dates.
ProctorU Platform Equipment Requirement Update
As communicated in April 2023, to align with Microsoft's end of support for the Windows 8.1 operating system and below, the minimum requirement for PC users will be Windows 10 to align with the operating system Microsoft is supporting. Please read our support article for more information about this or other equipment requirements.
ProctorU End User Randomization
In April 2023, Meazure Learning communicated data privacy practices around test-taker data in ProctorU.
If a test-taker does not access their account for one year, their data will be randomized. Meaning “Jane Doe” will become “Randomized User 123.” The test-taker’s photo will be removed and the phone number as well as other personal details will also be randomized, effectively deleting the user’s personal information. This data is randomized so we can safely remove all personal data without impacting reporting on the number of test-takers over a certain period.
