ProctorU Platform Maintenance Schedule

We perform monthly maintenance on the ProctorU Platform, using the time to implement vital performance and stability updates. During the scheduled windows, the platform will be completely offline, meaning no one will be able to log in. You can review the 2025 maintenance schedule in our support center at any time.

LMI Maintenance Window

Meazure Learning received notice on May 21st that LogMeIn Rescue (vendor for our online proctoring chat) will be conducting service maintenance on June 21st, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. UTC (12:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. Central). Meazure Learning has taken steps to block scheduling for online proctored exams during this time in anticipation of the maintenance.

The Meazure Learning Support Team will contact the scheduled test-takers and cancel their appointments/reschedule them as needed. If you do not have candidates scheduled during this time, no candidates will be contacted.  

We’ve talked a lot about how the Guardian Browser detects and blocks applications that could be used for academic misconduct, such as remote access programs, virtual machines, and screen recording software. We want to highlight one application that is on our “always deny” list because it was purposely built to “cheat on everything,” as its founders boast: Cluely.  

The application uses generative AI to operate as a transparent, on-screen overlay that provides users with real-time responses based on what it sees on screen and hears via audio. Unlike other AI tools, though, it is designed to be stealthy, hiding its tracks with a transparent interface that is not visible through human proctoring and auto-proctoring software. It also bypasses keylogging through hidden global keyboard shortcuts and masks tab-switching behavior, all intended to allow the user to receive outside assistance while appearing compliant.  

While this application is banned through our remote proctoring software, it poses a significant and sophisticated threat to the future of exam integrity—especially if you’re using a proctoring system that cannot detect and deny its use.

We’ve seen a 5-point increase in test-taker satisfaction since December 2024. We credit this increase to the consistent work from our Product and Operations team focused on improving the candidate experience without sacrificing security.
